Under direction of the CFO responsible for daily accounting functions, accounts payable, train billing, and commodity settlements. This position may require advanced training and/or education. Primarily accountable for daily accounting. Lead in month-end closing and corporate reporting with the CFO and other accounting staff, reviewed by the CFO. Will prepare handling loss report and post before month-end closing process. Is privy to confidential company information and uses specialized education to perform your job. Will be assigned to train billing, producer and commercial commodity settlements, DGR and other tasks. These will change as skills increase and we might assign train billing to another employee and assign different tasks to this position. Will be responsible for hedge accounts and daily wire or ACH transfers and posting, bank account review, and bank reconciliations, with the CFO to review. Assist with bushel reconciliation, partner sets, and tie out the Trial Balance to double check all journal entries. Assist CFO with IT and secondarily responsible for assistance on servers and Agris issues. Special projects as necessary and will need to lead other team members in training and other duties, as assigned.

Duties will include but not be limited to, all daily activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reporting on business activities and employee reporting and tracking. Duties to include activities related to, any and all reports to county, state and agencies, including tax filings, payroll etc. Company is also interested increasing it input and production tracking to improve decision-making abilities. This position will be reporting to and working closely with the hands-on owner. Position located in the greater Merced area, potential for some relocation assistance.
